Robolinux 7.7.1 the illegal distribution

The Robolinux, a fast and easy-to-use Linux distribution based on Debian that uses both GNOME and Xfce as work environments. The operating system has just been updated to 7.7.1.RoboLinux

The operating system claims that it can help users "migrate" from Windows to Linux without having to give up their favorite applications. One which contains the operating system and is called Stealth VM enables users to run Windows applications in a virtual environment. Of course, it is still not clear whether this particular project is legal. It is very surprising that Microsoft has not yet taken legal action against the developers of this distribution.

As usual, each new version of the Robolinux operating system brings something new, such as full hard disk encryption, frequent changes for Windows compatibility, or something else. The latest version of the operating system makes available the Popcorn Time which enables users to watch movies and TV shows online.

The development of a virtual Windows environment is already quite controversial in legal terms, especially for a Linux distribution. Now that project developers have added Popcorn Time by default, which is illegal in many countries, the operating system can be described as the first illegal distribution of Linux that is being released.
If you are interested you can find more for Stealth VM Software and Robolinux in the distribution's changelog. You can also download Robolinux 7.7.1 in 32-bit and 64-bit from here.
