The Sacramento Kings εγκαινιάζουν το νέο γήπεδο τους (κόστους 507.000.000 δολαρίων) τον Οκτώβριο. Μέσα θα υπάρχουν τεράστιες displays 25 meters, as well as high-speed Wi-Fi systems intended to provide incredibly fast internet to all fans.
But apart from tweeting, and that it will provide instant information, Wi-Fi will provide fans with something entirely new: replays virtualof the reality of all action. So no matter where you sit, you can wear a VR device and see 360-degree replays as if you were sitting inside the game, according to Paul Jacobs, vice president and co-owner of the Sacramento Kings.
Jacobs is also the executive president of Qualcomm's chipmaker, and wants to offer an experience that no one has ever seen.
It should be mentioned that it is still too early and that Jacobs pointed out that the project is a test. At the moment, there are not many available details of the infrastructure that will be needed.
The Kings can also experiment with off-field seating, using VR, to give fans who could not find a place on the pitch the opportunity to watch the match with Appliances virtual reality.
"I would still like them to be there to hear the voices of the crowd, to be part of the fight, but to watch in a slightly different way."
