The new card is aimed at the ever-growing consumer base, which uses action cameras, drones, premium smartphones and DSLRs with 4K recording and playback capability.
With the introduction of the new microSD 128GB memory card, Samsung provides consumers with the highest level of memory card solutions, enabling seamless recording of large files, high resolution video and still images as well as multimedia content for use by today's mobile devices.

The microSD PRO Plus 128GB memory card is the newest addition to the Samsung PRO Plus series, originally released with 32GB and 64GB capacities in May 2015. The microSD 128GB has the highest quality MLC NAND flash memory and comes under the UHS-I Speed Class 3 (U3) and Speed Class 10, offering the highest read and write speeds up to 95 / s and 90MB / s, respectively.
The new microSD PRO Plus 128GB memory card is ideal for use on high-end smartphones and tablets as it meets the security, capacity, performance and environmental requirements associated with new consumer audio and video products, especially with regard to action cameras and drones.
The equipment of the new memory card offers the ability to manage, store and transfer professional photos, as well as recording and playing 4K UHD video. It can record up to 3 hours and 50 minutes 4K UHD video or 16 hours and 20 minutes Full HD video on action cameras without the need to change or replace the memory card. 
In addition the microSD PRO Plus 128GB memory card can store up to 10.940 photos or 30.670 MP3 songs based on estimated settings and configurations.
The microSD PRO Plus 128GB is designed to be compatible with any device that has door microSD. It also has the newly upgraded Samsung 4-proof functions, which make it waterproof (IEC 60529, IPX7), temperature and X-ray resistant as well as protected from magnetism. It has a 10-year warranty and is also guaranteed to operate in temperatures from -25°C to 85°C (-13°F to 185°F). The data, which will be stored on the card, will not be affected by X-rays and will withstand up to 15.000 gauss (magnetic induction units), equal to a high-field MRI scanner.
