Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016) is released

There have been tons of rumors and leaks about the upcoming Galaxy J2 (2016) in recent weeks, but perhaps the most interesting is the new Smart Glow notifications. Over the last few weeks, Samsung's Galaxy J2 (2016) has been certified by the FCC and has been identified in many benchmark sites that have revealed some of its capabilities. The Galaxy J2 (2016) released today is a revised version of the original model, released last year.

The smartphone's features aren't all that impressive, except perhaps for the new Smart Glow notifications feature. Smart Glow is a new LED feature around the rear camera. The new tool changes its color depending on notifications, from , its use or incoming calls.

Smart Glow also has the ability to show the weather as the LED lights up based on the current forecast.

The Samsung Galaxy J2 2016 comes with a quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz and features an HD 5 inch screen. It has 1.5GB RAM and 8GB storage that can be expanded up to 128GB. The rear camera is in 8MP with LED flash and the front on 5MP.

The battery capacity reaches 2,600mAh, and the smartphone runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 and comes with 4G (LTE Cat.4).

The device comes in various (gold, black, and white) with dimensions of 142,4 x 77,1 x 8,0 mm. Turbo Speed (TST) improves performance and Samsung claims the feature can load apps up to 40% faster compared to other devices.

Galaxy J2 (2016) will cost 145 dollars and will be available first in India from next week.
