Yesterday we mentioned that Samsung stopped selling Galaxy Note 7. Shortly afterwards, the company with a press release announced the decision to revoke the device globally, due to Samsung's internal investigation.
The event could not be at the worst moment for Samsung due to the upcoming announcement of the iPhone 7. But it is quite encouraging to see that Samsung has decided to address the issue in the best possible way to protect consumers.
How can I exchange it:
Samsung, as we mentioned earlier, published one Press release which provides instructions for owners of Galaxy Note 7. You can exchange Galaxy Note 7 with a new device (for US rather from next week) or for a S7 or S7 Edge returning the difference to the price.
Samsung will also offer a gift voucher of 25 dollars to selected retailers.
Can I return the device to the mobile provider who bought it?
Yes. If you do not want to exchange your phone directly from Samsung, the mobile providers who have the device will accept the refund free of charge and without shipping costs.
So the best you have to do is contact your device's purchaser directly.
Of course you always have the option to keep the Galaxy Note 7 and continue to usesτε. Προς το παρόν δεν υπάρχει κάποιο διαγνωστικό εργαλείο ή ένα system search to be able to determine whether your device is defective.
In the beginning the problem it only seemed to occur to people using incompatible chargers. However, for Samsung to support a global recall, it is likely that the issue is serious and should be taken seriously.
Interestingly, the Galaxy Note 7 in China is not subject to revocation, obviously because the battery came from a different battery supplier (for this country).
