On April 11 and suggested retail price 759 € (for the 16 GB version), the Samsung Galaxy S5 in our country. This was announced by the Greek delegation of the Korean gossip, at the first official presentation of the new model in our country, for the press representatives.
Η Samsung launches its new "flagship" with a central message "My Life Powered by Samsung Galaxy S5", emphasizing the innovations that the smartphone incorporates to make the user's everyday life more pleasant and simple. One such innovation concerns the construction of the S5, thanks to which the device is IP67 certified and resistant to water and dust.
With regard to better safety, the new model incorporates a fingerprint sensor for its "unlocking", which can also be used by any third-party application. In fact, according to Samsung representatives, several developers are planning to upgrade their applications, enabling those who use them to confirm their identity in this way.
At the same time, the S5 has integrated sensors that measure a series of biometrics data – such as, for example, a chip on the "back" of the phone, which measures pulses. The data from all these sensors is gathered in the upgraded S Health 3.0 platform, which can take on the role of a "personal trainer", monitoring the physical exercise of the user.

S5's photographic performance is also upgraded, equipped with a main 16 Megapixel resolution camera, which can focus on just 0,3 seconds. For even more convenience, the user can set the camera in "smart mode" to select the best settings for each picture after taking the shot.
Naturally, Samsung's new "flagship" promises extra top performance as it comes with Qualcomm's quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor and RAM 2 GB.
The event also presented the new products of the Korean company in the category of "w", which will also make their appearance on April 11 in the Greek market. Thus, the "smart" watches Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo will be sold at 299 and 199 euros respectively.
In addition to the phone's "terminal" role, the two smartwatchs are based on the Tizen operating system so they can run independently applications, and can be used as a MP3 player.
On April 11, Gear Fit will be launched, a Samsung fitness tracker, which will be sold at 119 Euros.
