The Samsung officially unveiled the new Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. The two devices retain some of the latest generation look, but they contain new tweaks in overall styling, like let's say the reduction of the camera lens protrusion.
The S7 Edge has a 5,5-inch screen, while the regular S7 has a 5.1-inch HD. Both screens are Quad HD with a resolution of 2,560 × 1.440 pixels.
Both devices are also IP68 rated, which means they are dustproof and water (depth up to 1,5 meters for up to 30 minutes).
The two S7 models are announcing the return of the microSD card slot as Samsung chose to remove it from the previous models.
The battery is at 3,600mAH for the Edge model and 3.000 mAh for the regular version.
The rear camera has a 12 megapixel sensor with 1.4-micron pixels, and according to Samsung it leaves 56% more light than the S6 camera. It also has a f1.7 lens for even more light.

Samsung also says that both devices include additional capabilities better safetyKnox targeting business users, as well as support for Samsung Pay which will continue to roll out globally.
The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will go up for pre-order in the coming days and will begin shipping from March 11. USA, Europe and other countries.
