The Samsung Gear VR travels you back to the history and works of the famous painter Rembrandt for an unforgettable experience and knowledge of Holland in 17 century.
The best thing about virtual reality projections is that they can transport you to imaginary places, or meet with people you will never ever find yourself in real life, as for example with the famous Dutch painter Rembrandt.
Oculus has collaborated with Force Field virtual reality studio for an experience through the Samsung Gear VR, which will take you back to 17 century in Amsterdam. Meeting Rembrandt (meeting Rembrandt) recreates the artist's home and surroundings using an actor to play the role of the artist.
The Meeting Rembrandt puts you in the middle of the most remarkable events of the artist's life. You can even interact with him in his studio and see the creative process behind his most famous painting, "The Night Watch".
"It's like you're really there, along with Rembrandt, at his atelier, at home, and he interacts with you and lets you understand why his work was so controversial at the time," says Force Field , Mr Arthur Houtman.
Η projection is now available on the Oculus Gear VR store for free. Since it was built for its VR platform Samsung, you will of course need to have the Titan heatsets and a compatible mobile phone, such as the Galaxy S8 or Note 8.
