Samsung PM1633a 2.5 "SAS SSD at 15TB: Although we still wonder who could pay 10.000 dollars to acquire a solid state drive (SSD) we are obliged to report the news.
We are talking about an SSD drive with a storage capacity of 15 terabytes (TB).
But with 10.000 dollars on the other hand you can buy car...
The 15TB drive (actually 15.36), uses 16 Samsung chips to create a packet of 512GB. It then adds 32 of these packages together to create two Samsung PM1633a SSDs.
The disc is also available at version of 7TB.
Of course, it could be cheaper to buy four new SSDs of Samsung's 4TB in 1500 dollars a (a total of 6.000 dollars).
