After the launch of Samsung Galaxy Note 8, and while the world goes to forget the explosive Galaxy Note 7, the company from South Korea, again did its miracle.
This time, it's the turn of Samsung TV owners, as the company reportedly deployed an upgraded version firmware on a range of smart TVs.
Nothing wrong with the company's move, only those who upgraded the firmware have destroyed their device, so only a technician can restore it to full functionality.
Samsung's firmware update is for most recently the company's models, such as UE50MU6100K, UE49MU7070 and MU6409.
This means that whoever has one of these models and has connected it to the Internet should avoid updates, at least until the company does something. At present, Samsung has not mentioned anything, so it is unclear whether it is withdrawing this update.
At the moment the company's customers complain in the forum claim that in most cases TVs with the latest firmware update are unable to change the channel and some do not start at all, while the devices are frozen with a black screen after the Samsung launch screen is displayed.
