Alarm from company security Sucuri, for website owners of the platform WordPress using its theme OptimizePress. According to the company a vulnerability in the mode file upload in the OptimizePress theme allowed attackers to infect thousands of websites.
The vulnerability uses the media-upload.php file in / lib / admin / and allows anyone to upload any type of file to "files / optpress / images_comingsoon."
Sucuri technicians have identified more than 2.000 websites using the Optimizepress theme that have been compromised. All sites are injected with iFrame που οδηγεί σε ένα κακόβουλο domain.
