Septor is another Linux operating system that focuses on maintaining anonymity and privacy while browsing the Internet.
The Septor distribution uses like base Debian Testing, and as a default desktop environment the KDE Plasma.
The latest release, (2019 version), was announced yesterday and comes with the Linux kernel 4.19.12, KDE Plasma 5.14.3, LibreOffice 6.1.3, GIMP 2.10.8, VLC 3.0.5, as well as many privacy-enhancing applications such as a launcher to download the latest Tor browser, OnionShare 1.3.2 (an anonymous file sharing utility) and Ricochet 1.1.4 (an instant messaging client developed by Invisible.im).
Applications Thunderbird 60.3.1, HexChat 2.14.2 και QuiteRSS 0.18.12 είναι όλες προεπιλεγμένες για σύνδεση στο Internet μέσω του δικτύου Tor.
The distribution can be used as Live or even installed on a hard disk through the standard Debian installer.
