Google Street View decided to make a free parachute - skydive - from a plane over a coastal national park in New Zealand. So you have the opportunity to experience a skydive fall with a 360 degree camera.
In late December, Google Street View photographers collaborated with the school skydiver in Abel Tasman in New Zealand.
So we have it first skydive virtual tour for Google Street View of Google Maps. Overall it shows an airplane climbing to 16.500 feet (about 5.500 meters) in the sky and then a jump and a free fall at about 200 kilometers per hour (125 miles per hour) to the Abel Tasman National Park that lies just below them.
You can enjoy the skydive drop on 3D from your computer by pressing the classic Street View arrow keys to go to the next photo. Each photo of course is 360 degrees.
The fall in addition to photos was filmed and the result can be seen in the following video, in which you can also rotate 360 degrees your viewing angle.
