Microsoft today announced the Skype application for Android. In September of 2015, Skype for Android gained a new design inspired by Google's flat plans, but it was not fully adopted.
At that time, Microsoft said the application had redesigned the application for Android phones, but did not say anything about Android tablets. Today it finally released the new application for all devices.
The new user interface for tablets was apparently designed from the ground up. A new button that "floats" will allow you to send messages and start voice calls calls or video calls with friends or groups.
The company also says that the new design for tablets makes it easier to multitasking.
Chat has improved. You'll now be able to find contacts, conversations, groups, and Skype bots all the more quickly from the main application screen.
In addition to all of the above, the company promises Skype to have the standard call quality and improved performance with today's version.
