Τι είναι το SLACKEL
It is a Linux and LiveCD distribution based on Slackware and Salix. It is fully compatible with Slackware and Salix but the difference is that it includes the current version of Slackware and the latest version of KDE in its repositories. So Slackware and Salix users can benefit from its repositories Slackel to use the latest version of KDE. Two versions are offered, installation version and LiveCD version. Slackel is developed by Dimitris Dzemos.

The Slackel 6.0 Openbox was released. Slackel is based on Slackware and Salix.
It includes the kernel Linux 3.10.30 and the latest software upgrades from the current version of Slackware.
The Slackel 6.0 openbox 32 bit image includes PAE and non-PAE cores for i486 PC's.
The ncurses installer includes the option of installing the Lilo or Grub boot loader. After installation, users can use the tool grubconfig to reinstall grub or to change an existing system using Lilo to Grub boot loader.
Users can also use the tool update-grub to update grub's menus anytime they upgrade to the Linux kernel or have another distribution installed on another hard drive partition.
Os-prober is used to update the grub menus with all the operating systems in your system.
Includes Midori 0.5.7 web browser, Claws-Mail 3.9.2, Transmission, SpaceFm, Openjre-7u51, rhino, icedtea-web, Pidgin 2.10.9, Gftp 2.0.19, Wicd. The multimedia department includes Whaawmp movie player, Exaile 3.3.2, Asunder CD ripper, Brasero for CD / DVD burning. Abiword 3.0.0, Gnumeric 1.12.2 and ePDFviewer are the main office applications.
In the graphics department, Viewnior 1.3 program image viewer and Scrot for application screenshots round out the range of graphics applications.
The pictures iso is isohybrid.
