Σύμφωνα με δημοσίευμα των Financial Times, η Apple πρόκειται να ανακοινώσει την εν λόγω πλατφόρμα λογισμικού μέσω της οποίας θα είναι εφικτός ο των «έξυπνων» και συνδεδεμένων στο Διαδίκτυο οικιακών συσκευών, του οικιακού φωτισμού και των συστημάτων ασφαλείας.

The Financial Times argue that the platform will make its maiden appearance at congress developers WWDC, which will take place next week (2-6 June) in San Francisco.

It is speculated that Smart Home will be able to work with Bluetooth technology for some automation functions, while some analysts believe that the next iPhone will incorporate NFC technology that could also be useful for testing home appliances.

Apple's entry into the "home technology" space will obviously bring it into direct conflict with like the Samsung and LG Electronics, which have presented a multitude of "smart" home appliances and applications. At the same time, competition with which, after the acquisition of Nest, seemed to be turning to that particular segment of the market.
