Snowden: Greater revelations come

Edward Snowdon said there are even greater revelations from her papers NSA which leaked in the context of the overwhelming case of electronic surveillance, at a surprise-surprise show through a satellite and a robot telepresence at the TED 2014 conference in Vancouver.

As he noted, there is still much to be investigated, including allegations that the NSA misled tech companies into creating "backdoors" in their systems, making the τους ευάλωτα σε χάκερ από όλο τον κόσμο.

"Do we really stop terrorism? I think not, "he said. "The conclusion is that terrorism [...] has always been a cover for actions. Terrorism causes emotional reactions. "

Snowdon, who is "somewhere in Russia," insisted that his actions were not "risky" and that he did what he did for the American people. He also claimed he would like to return to USA, if he was given immunity.

"I do not want to hurt my government ... that it is willing to ignore legitimate proceedings and to blame without trial ... it is among the things against which we must fight as a society."

"I am alive that one person can take on the most powerful intelligence agencies in the world and win," the former NSA employee said.

Responding to those who ask whether innocent Internet users should ignore the issue, he said, “You're giving up your rights. Your rights matter, because you never know when you'll need them. People should be able to pick up the phone and call their families, send a message to a loved one , να αγοράσουν ένα βιβλίο online, χωρίς να ανησυχούν τι μπορεί να σκεφτεί για αυτό η κυβέρνηση στο μέλλον. Έχουμε δικαίωμα στην ιδιωτικότητα».

As he noted, his actions exposed one of the "most dangerous heritage of 9 / 11 era".
