Everyone knows your password

We all know the importance of strong passwords. It's a way to secure your digital life and that's why there are many companies that offer ways to create and remember passwords.hacker password

How many of you think the issue is serious enough?

Η ασφαλείας Splash Data μόλις έδωσε στη δημοσιότητα τον ετήσιο κατάλογο με τους πιο δημοφιλείς of access. Passwords have been stolen over the past year and despite the efforts of security experts and governments to protect us, apparently no one seems to be paying attention.

For three years in a row "code" 123456 continues to be the most popular password on the Internet followed, unsurprisingly, by 'password.'

Of course there are those who try to make it difficult for hackers by changing 'password' to 'passw0rd.' But apparently the "security measure" doesn't work, since the code has already been added to the list... It's a newcomer but it exists.

In the list of the top 25 passwords in 2015 follow: "starwars," "princess" the very difficult "solo" and all the following

We strongly recommend

  • Create strong passwords with the addition of small chapters, numbers and special characters.
  • Large code size (over 16 characters from the ones mentioned above)
  • Use authentication of factors where there is (where there is not be careful what you store)
  • Use a password manager that does not store your passwords in the cloud or on third-party servers but locally. We use our (free) offline password manager KeePass
