According to data from StatCounter, Google's web browser held 45,44% of the market share in June, compared to 45,6% in the previous month. In recent years, Google's browser has managed to top the list of most popular browsersletterbrowsing.
Internet Explorer managed to gain some users last month, rising to 20,96%, 0,2 more than it had in May. This is the first time in months that Microsoft's browser has risen in popularity since the company decided to stop supporting Windows XP in April.
Firefox appears to have fallen in June, with market share reaching 17,95%, up from 18,72% the previous month. Apple Safari has gained some new users from other browsers, and continues to gain in popularity. Safari is now used by 10.33% of Internet users, up from 10,02% in May.
