Stikey: The Designer Michelakakis and Elias Kalogeropoulos, are the founders of a start-up product design, dcubed, based in Vrilissia.
Their goal is to transfer their ideas to end-products aimed at the public within and beyond Greece.
The Stikey is their first product as dcubed and is a versatile accessory for smartphones.
To be able to fund the derivative, the children chose to present it on the crowdfunding platform, Kickstarter.
The accessory is firmly in contact with the mobile phone or phablet (tested with a 5.5 screen!) Using a built-in magnet, offering support in a horizontal and upright position.
It can also be used to safely transport the cables of a mobile phone (charger or headset)
protecting them from being confused and strained. It is designed to always be with the user, easily tapping into his keys to have it with him when needed.
Finally, the product hides an extra function in its packaging! Part of the package is a magnetic base that is placed on any horizontal surface (eg wall) and is used as an extra mobile placement point.

It is designed to enhance the experience of using a smartphone as it focuses on more than one feature. Using magnetism, it acts as a portable base for the mobile in a horizontal but also upright position, while its design allows the cable of the charger or the headphones to be securely arranged so that they do not get involved and processed when we transport them. - It's portable
Our goal was to design a product that, although portable, would not be easily forgotten or kept in a drawer. That's why Stikey by entering the user's keys as a keychain, is always available when he needs it. - Environmentally friendly innovative packaging
We designed the packaging in such a way that part of it can be used in combination with the product. This way we achieve the reduction of waste while offering extra functionality to users. Once the package is opened, the bottom can be used as a magnetic base for the mobile phone, having the ability to be placed on a variety of surfaces.
The project campaign started on Wednesday 22-04 and will be open for 1 month. The campaign's goal is to raise 12.000 pounds (15.000 euros) to produce the product.
