How to disable Windows 10 download in Windows 7 & 8.1 environment?
1 method.
- Install them updates KB3065987 (for Windows 7) or KB3065988 (for Windows 8.1).
- Restart your computer.
- Then open the register editor by typing "regedit" in the search of the start menu.
- Follow the route
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Policies \ Microsoft \ Windows
- Right-click on Windows and select New -> Key and name it “WindowsUpdate".
- Then, in the new folder that appears, right click again and create a new one 32-bit DWORD name it “DisableOSUpgrade ” with value = 1.
- Reboot and be ready!
