The Polish game company The Farm 51 announced its plan to create a virtual reality tour in Chernobyl and Pripyat, the city that housed the workers at the nuclear power plant.
ΤChernobyl was the worst nuclear disaster in the history of mankind and the region has been abandoned for nearly three decades. Few dare to go there and even fewer to delay beyond the short deadline foreseen by the scientists.
The company just released a VR video Project of Chernobyl, which is expected to be released on April 26, 2016, exactly 30 years after the disaster.
According to the company will be more than a mere virtual trip to the places that tourists are currently visiting. Its developers The 51 Farm have secured her permission to explore and record areas that are off limits to the public. The goal is to "immortize the contaminated zone and allow the user to learn about the events of April 26, 1986."
