Information day "Information and Communication Technologies on the Horizon 2020"

LogoEKTThe National Documentation Center, the National Contact Point for the 2020 HORIZON Program, invites you to information session with "Information and Communication Technologies on the Horizon 2020". The event is organized with the support of the European Commission and the General Secretariat for Research and Technology.

The event will take place on Tuesday 19 NovemberIn Athens, Greece, at the National Research Foundation (Vas. Konstantinos 48).

The cmof the European Commission Kostas Glinos and Thomas Skordas will present the "Information and Communication Technologies" program in the different pillars of the EU's "HORIZON 2020" program for research and innovation.

The National Representatives of the "Research Infrastructures" and "Information and Communication Technologies" programs, Spyros Anastasiadis and Konstantinos Stefanidis (speakers to be confirmed), will present Greece's positions on the specific .

The Greek experience in the 7 Framework Program will be presented by Giannis Ioannidis (University of Athens, ATHENA Research Center) and Hercules Avramopoulos (National Technical University of Athens). Finally, statistics for the Greek participation in the Information and Communication Technologies program of 7 will be presented by Maria Koutrooki from the General Secretariat for Research and Technology.

The National Documentation Center will present data on the Greek research in the field of ICT, as it results from the relevant publications and the bibliometric studies of the organization, as well as from its actions as its National Contact Point & coordinator. Europe Network-Hellas.
