The New York Times is distributing 1 million Google Cardboard

The newspaper tries to educate its readers in reality.

It will give away over one million Google Cardboards to its subscribers so they can try out the new virtual reality construction (Virtual – VR).

Cardboard google

Together with the virtual reality cardboard, which will be released on November 5, the NYT will make the debut a documentary called "The Displaced" which follows the stories of children affected by the war.

It's an interesting move by NYTimes. As seems to be trying to prevent the new fashion at 3D presentations hoping for higher readers.

The cardboard of Google starts sharing on November 7th, so if you live in America and are a NYT subscriber look for -surprise in your mailbox.
