Πιο συγκεκριμένα, τα αποκαλυπτήρια του VR headset της Sony αναμένεται να γίνουν κατά τη διάρκεια του πάνελ «Driving the of », στο οποίο θα παρευρεθούν ο Διευθυντής Έρευνας και Ανάπτυξης (R&D) της SCEA (Sony Electronics America), Richard Marks, SCEA R&D Chief Software Engineer Anton Mikhailov and SCE Studio President Shuhei Yoshida. Marks and Mikhailov also worked on the development of the PlayStation Eye and Move.

According to the report, information leaked by developers who claim they already have hardware hardware in their hands or better in their ... head. It is also expected that some of Sony's collaborating studios will be featured during the GDC and some games or demos.

Sony has reportedly been considering engaging in virtual reality content players since at least 2011. However, the only thing that has been introduced to date are some futuristic headset models, such as the HMZ-T3W, which do not have ability to view virtual reality content.

Instead, Oculus Rift, 2012, whose creators produced more than 60.000 units that headed to content developers, stole their impressions. At the same time, Oculus VR is reportedly working to produce improved prototypes in collaboration with Valve. The first units targeted at consumers are expected to show off at the end of 2014 or at the beginning of 2015.
