That's it thesswiki is an undertaking WikiTown / City which aims to digitize the history and culture of its city Thessaloniki by the citizens themselves through Wikipedia, and at the same time interconnecting the electrons with the urban web. It is an interconnection action between the digital and the physical world and has extensions to culture, education, tourism and e-government.
As part of the action, training seminars on writing essays will take place, webinars, workshops etc. The project was proposed by Wikimedia Community User Group Greece, supported by Municipality of Thessaloniki and is coordinated by PostScriptum in collaboration with EEL / LAC.
Thessaloniki is an ideal case for this action as its multiculturalism is evident both yesterday and today, but the percentage of young people in the city (and potential lexicographers) is high and with a strong voluntary mood.
