Google Street View has photographed almost everything in Greece. But in his photos you can see something that does not make you happy. You can, if you wish, ask Google to blur your home or anything else so that it is not recognizable.
Google Street View shows the same thing one would see if you were walking in front of your house, but it is accessible to anyone using them Google Maps. If you do not like something about it, you can ask your house, person, vehicle or license plate to be blurred.
If you are wondering why you get into this process the usual reasons are for the privacy and security you may want in your home or other personal information. If someone is plotting your house, they can easily enter through Street View and find what they are interested in and what is usually the following:
• Locating the entrances of buildings
• Determining the positions of security cameras, doors, etc.
• Search for good hiding places
• Search for holes or leaks points in the fence
• Locating utility checkpoints (energy, water, natural gas)
• Locating the make, model and color of the vehicle of the owner or other residents
• Locate if there are padlocks, locks, guards, dogs, etc.
• Measure distances between points (using Google Earth) to determine how fast someone would need to run or drive from one point to another.
If you've been interested, look at the photos of your home in Street View and if you want to blur some points, see the steps for Google to remove the cleanliness of your property or other personal items from Street View. Note that blurring cannot be undone.
• Find your property or area on Google Maps by searching for it location you.
• Open Street View to see if any of these (home, vehicle, person, or other identification information) should be blurred
• In the photo you want to intervene, scroll down to the right and do click in choice "Problem report"
• Fill in and submit the form
