The Transmission application is one of the most popular BitTorrent client for OS X and Linux operating systems.
The traditional UNIX application has been released for Windows after almost a decade since its first release.
The open-source file sharing application, developed by volunteers, does not serve ads, boasts a small footprint (about 25MB for Windows), supports encryption, a interface Web so you can view your downloads remotely through your browser, and it allows you to set different limits speeds in each individual torrent.
