We know that Turkey recently banned access to both Twitter as well as in YouTube. However, the Turks continue to access the services with the help of Google's DNS servers and the network Tor.
After blocking Google's DNS servers to prevent users from accessing Twitter, Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF), reports that Turkey has also banned access to the Tor Project website nationwide.
The website that hosts the Tor Browser Bundle, which allows users to surf the web through Tor's anonymous network is not accessible from the entire neighboring country. It honestly makes us wonder how a government can make such stupid decisions.
The next move will be to fill the internet with Tor Browser Bundle mirror links.
EFF has already posted an entire list of mirrors from where everyone can download Tor.
Those who wish to support the Turks and boycott the censorship of the Turkish government can create their own mirrors.
