A really good news from one company which seems to care about the safety of its users. The Twitter bought the small startup called Mitro, which focuses on password security.
According an announcement published by Mitro στην ιστοσελίδα της, η team will work for Twitter, and will focus on a variety of geo-related projects.
The company will not be integrated into Twitter, and will continue to develop its own products that will allow people to share passwords on an account. There are some changes to the startup, with the biggest one being that Mitro will be open-source.
Με αυτό κατά νου, είμαστε ενθουσιασμένοι που θα έχουμε tips και βοήθεια από το Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF), for Mitro's transition to a sustainable, community-run project," the announcement reads.
People can go have a look at the source code for Github and check the system for bugs or websites that do not work reliably, which can then report to Mitro to help improve the project.
