If you receive notifications of replies to Twitter, or retweets, or favorites that happened hours or even days ago, you're not alone. A large number of Twitter users complain that their accounts send notifications about their old activities.
The error appears to affect users with desktop computers, and with its mobile application Twitter.com.
The malfunction started earlier this week, but the old notifications appear to be more common in the last few hours.
Apart from the delayed notifications, some users also complain about λήψη duplicate updates for their favorites.
