Ubuntu 16.04 LTS: Unity 7 Launcher goes to the bottom as a Dock

The announcement was made yesterday from the Unity page Marco Trevisan on Google+. THE finally decided to move the Unity 7 Launcher from the side of the screen to the bottom.Dock

Marco Trevisan mentioned in his quick post that you will need to run a command to move the Unity Launcher to the bottom of the screen. The commands are at the end of the post, but for them to work you should be sure that te latest update packages to the new operating system.

Move the Unity Launcher down

gsettings set com.canonical.Unity.Launcher launcher-position Bottom

Move the Unity Launcher to the left

gsettings set com.canonical.Unity.Launcher launcher-position Left
