Ubuntu 22.10 Kinetic Kudu

Η released the new version of Ubuntu 22.10 distribution. Codenamed “Kinetic Kudu”, this release improves the experience of enterprise developers and administrators.

Ubuntu 22.10 provides tooling updates to Ruby, Go, GCC, and Rust. OpenSSH in Ubuntu 22.10 is configured by default to be enabled at system boot. However sshd will not start until an incoming connection request is received. This will reduce the memory footprint of Ubuntu Server on smaller devices, VMs or LXD containers.

Ubuntu 22.10 also comes with a new debug service to help developers and administrators debug. Debugging tools like gdb will automatically download what is needed to trace over HTTPS.
