Vodafone: Limited complaints have recently been identified from cases of users receiving malicious emails (spam emails). Specifically, these malicious emails (spam emails) are similar in structure to official emails from our company, as they use the name and the Vodafone logo. In this way the senders try to mislead the recipients of the messages and transfer viruses or redirect to websites maliciousof content.
Vodafone recommends that, in the event that it receives an email with the following features, the subscriber should immediately delete it:
1. The name of Vodafone is displayed as the sender.
2. The email contains a pdf attachment, which the recipient should NOT attempt to open as it may install automatically malware and infect his computer
3. The sender signs as 'Vodafone team'. In all cases where you receive 'suspicious' messages that you are not sure if it is a fraud, please contact Vodafone Customer Care (13830) for how to deal with them.
