The Swedish automotive industry he announced a pilot project in Sweden according to which 2016's spring cars will not carry any kind of classic wrench. In fact, he plans to make the system available in 2017.

Keyless car technology will be presented for the first time at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next week, but in the meantime, Volvo has seen and presented this promo video showing the new system.

Μέσα από την εφαρμογή, οι πελάτες θα είναι σε θέση επίσης να χρησιμοποιήσουν περισσότερα από ένα “ψηφιακά κλειδιά”, που σημαίνει ότι μπορούν να έχουν in different Volvo in different locations, depending on where they are.

While all of this might be aimed at rich people with lots of cars, it could also be used in the car rental space. For example customers could when renting one to receive a digital key on the smartphone, which will expire at the end of the rental period.

In addition, you can share the car keys more easily, since you could park your car somewhere and then send your digital key anywhere, to your spouse or friend, at the touch of a button.

The concept of "keyless car" is of course not something new. Most modern cars have a remote control fob to open the doors, and the Tesla S has a system that allows drivers to start their vehicle through a mobile app and enter a password, although this is more designed as a backup in case the driver loses his physical key.
