WhatsApp coming from 2020

WhatsApp ads will become a reality, according to Facebook. The largest social network confirmed at the Facebook Marketing Summit held in the Netherlands, that we will see ads on the WhatsApp platform sometime in 2020.

WhatsApp

And if you are bothered by the idea of ads on WhatsApp, the company plans to make the experience as inconvenient as possible with a simple approach.

The ads will appear on the Status screen, not in the chats or contacts list.

This means that when you check your contacts' posts, you will occasionally see ads, as is the case with Instagram Stories.

Facebook says that these ads will not be very annoying, but no matter how we do it, there will be some who will not get excited about the change and will switch to another platform.

For example, users of the Facebook messaging app could turn to Telegram application, which today seems to be the main rival of WhatsApp, is offered completely free of charge, and without ads.

To mention that resistance from the public, with the use of alternative and safer applications (as in the case of Telegram) seems to be the only way to deal with Facebook's innocence.

Of course, in order for there to be resistance, there must also be concern from an audience that does not seem to be interested.

  1. Just as you described at the end, an audience that is not interested in anything but absolutely nothing beyond it rains, a world that is blindly guided by various tricks in situations that it does not even understand, and with closed eyes follows its rules…
