Its new feature WhatsApp is visible in the latest beta version of the app (2.16.341 dated November 10), and has also been detected in Windows Phone beta.

It is activated through the account settings folder and the application adds a six-digit password to your account which will ask for it each time you install the program on a new device. WhatsApp usually requires you to confirm your phone number with a text message that sends it to your device, but the new password helps you add an extra level of security for scammers.

The this feature is only in the beta version of the app but it is now a matter of time to come to official circulation as well.
