The presence of one Wi-Fi Hotspot with name which referred to terrorism team caused the delay by one day, of flightof a plane flying from Los Angeles to London.
Airport officials were notified of the existence of a hotspot under the name "Al-Quida Free Terror Nettwork" and immediately took action to secure the aircraft and passengers. It appears the network name was a major cause for concern as the plane taxied and passengers were told to turn off their Appliances those that could connect to the suspected hotspot.
Who would have named his network like that? was the jockey in the airplane? The mystery will probably remain unexplored. The aircraft was isolated for three hours, and after an hour the commander announced the aircraft for the threat that prevented the take-off. The flight was eventually the next day.
In theory users are free to name them networks their Wi-Fi as they wish, even if the prankster had been caught (ABC7 reported that the person was not found), police officers could not have been indicted because no crime had been committed.
There are generally several ways to pull a prank at an airport, and with this incident another one was added to the list. Of course it is extremely unlikely that real terrorists would give such a name to their Wi-Fi network, and certainly a more nuanced approach to the situation would be more fruitful. On the other hand, our people have as a saying "save your clothes so that you have half of them".
And you do not have any ideas in mind to change the name of your wireless network, because you will not be scared even with a pull with the authorities. If you still insist, give him at least some clever name to laugh and your neighbors, of course, not related to illegal or terrorist activities.
