Windows 10 was officially released on July 29, and since then, millions users around the world they installed the new functional of Microsoft.
While the company has not made publicly available statistics on how the installation is progressing, NeoWin (a well-known Microsoft product friend site) claims that sources it does not name reported that the new operating system has already been installed over 25 millions of times.
Please note that Microsoft has not yet confirmed this information, but it is likely to be accurate since after the first 24 hours, Windows 10 was running 14 million devices.
It may be too early to compare Windows 10 with its predecessors (some preliminary data show that the new operating system is far ahead of Windows 8.1), but as seems to be pleased with Microsoft first numbers, while still expecting the future of Windows 10 to be much better.
Let us recall that the company aims to enter 1 billion devices by 2017. No one can know if Microsoft will close its target, but its policy free of making the operating system available in Windows 7 and 8 upgrades, it might help.
But what has put too many thoughts into is the incredible data collection that the company makes from its new operating system. With the new terms of use that it released along with the new operating system, Microsoft almost shamelessly says it blothes out the privacy of every user, without any hesitation.
We do not know whether the company is changing anything in the future, but it is a fact that free Windows 10 is not that free.
