Once you've installed it new functional Windows 10 April 2018 Update, but you notice that your disk capacity has decreased significantly. If so, you should know that your disk after installation was loaded with 10GB (approx) of data that you don't need.
If your computer has a large hard drive, it will not be a problem, as the data will be stored for 10 days until Windows automatically deletes them. However, if your disc is of limited capacity, 10 days are many.

When you upgrade to a new build, Windows creates a folder with name Windows.old which contains all your system files from the “old” Windows installation. This allows you to "roll back" to the previous version of Windows 10 if something goes wrong with the installation of the new version.
However, this folder contains more than 10 GB. Windows will automatically delete it after 10 days, as mentioned above, but you can delete them immediately if you do not want to wait.
You should know that you can only delete these files if your computer appears to be working properly. If you have a problem with the new version of Windows 10, you will not be able to "go back" to the previous version.
How to delete the Windows.old folder:
If after a few days everything works correctly, you can delete the old files. The Windows.old folder because it contains files on your old system can not be deleted manually.
By information of Windows 10 April 2018 Update, you can delete the files using the new “Free Space” tool in Settings. Follow the route:
Settings - System - Storage - Free Space
Check the "Previous Windows Installer" option in the list. You will see the size it occupies on your disk. If this option is not listed, then you have already deleted the files, or Windows 10 deleted them before you.
Select other types of data you want to delete and click delete files.
