Bamboo robot: H Microsoft trying to improve Windows 10 IoT Core with the Anniversary Edition started supporting the Intel Joule, a development board often described as the most powerful and innovative to date.
And because Microsoft simply couldn't help but use the Intel Joule, the program Windows Insider a new build of Windows 10 IoT Core will be released soon (in September) that will support the computing platform.
Let's go to Bamboo now….
Bamboo is a robot that runs on Intel Joule and uses Microsoft Azure and Cognitive Services (cognitive services) to provide sentiment analysis and translation. These functions allow you to talk to the robot in any language. In addition, according to Microsoft, the robot can understand your mood, and react accordingly.
The robot can "move around and understand its environment" with an interconnected Intel Joule system and Intel RealSense cameras. All robot moves can be made thanks to the EZ-Robot and EZ-B control system.
"Using it software EZ-Builder for Windows and the recently released EZ-robot UWP library, you can design and animate your robot on a Windows PC,” Microsoft says.
Microsoft presented the new robot at Intel Developer Forum 2016 held in San Francisco and said that anyone can make their ideas a reality with the Intel Joule and the upcoming Windows 10 IoT Core update that will be released in September.
