According to rumors circulating on the internet, Microsoft is going to sign off the closure of Windows 10 build 14390 as the RTM build of the Anniversary Update or the Anniversary Update as it is known in Greece. This marks the end of the Windows 10 Anniversary Update development cycle, also known as version 1607 or Redstone 1.
The information comes from Zac Bowden, a former Winbeta journalist, currently working in Windows Central.
The Window 10 build 14390 was released a few hours ago, and compared to the previous Window 10 build 14388, comes with only one known issue and does not contain any serious bug fixes.
Let us recall that the Windows 10 Anniversary Update according to its announcement companys will be released for everyone on August 2, 2016.
After July 29, 2016, the free upgrade offer will stop and users of older systems will not be able to upgrade to Windows 10 for free. Of course (Microsoft permitting) the annoying alerts for offering a free upgrade to Windows 7 and Windows 8.1.
