Microsoft has released new ISO images for Windows 10. This time it's for her feature update of 2020 Spring (Windows 10 Spring 2020) today referred to as 20H1.
The ISOs allow a clean install of Windows 10 on build 18990, a version that Microsoft made available to Insiders following the Fast Ring channel in late September.
There are three different versions of these ISOs that you can download from the Microsoft Insiders page:
The standard build, the enterprise version, but also the Home China version for Chinese opera friends. In addition to the build 18990 (Fast Ring) ISO download page, there are also images from the Release Preview channel, namely the upcoming Windows 10 build 18363.
These ISO images can be used for a clean installation of the operating system, which is very convenient for users who are part of the Windows Insider program and need to restore their devices.
At the same time, they can be used to test a specific build in a closed environment, such as a virtual machine, before the official release of the "stable" Windows 10 20H1.
Build 18990, comes with automatic reboot for UWP applications, WSL enhancements and better cloud support to restore a computer without special means recoverys.
"Except for the registered ones desktop with apps, when you enable this setting, the majority of open UWP apps will now restart automatically! To reduce connection time, UWP apps restart at a minimum, in a suspended state, giving Windows and other apps more resources to start,” Microsoft said when it released this build of Windows 10.
The development of the Windows 10 operating system 20H1 is expected to be completed by the spring of 2020 and according to the standard Microsoft program, this should be done in March. Release for everyone could start in April or May on 2020.
