A new version of Windows 10 is available for those enrolled in the fast ring of the Windows program Insider, as Microsoft developers continue to refine the next major feature update of the operating system.
Windows 10 build 19569 does not bring new features (in addition to the new icons), but only bug fixes and pre-RTM improvements expected sometime next month.
This new release is a preview of the 20H1 or 2004 update, which should be available in RTM in March and then in April or May.
Today's version comes with a series of fixes (see changelog). Microsoft explains:
“We fixed an issue where SCSI drivers were not recognized on certain third-party virtual machines, causing errors c1900191. We continue to investigate additional bugs c1900191 in others Appliances. "
This release also fixes some problems reliability of the “Start” menu, as well as malfunctions in OneDrive which caused high CPU usage on some devices.
As for the known issues, one of them was affecting the new one Browser and Microsoft Edge accessibility.
“We know that Narrator and NVDA users using the latest version of Microsoft Edge with base Chromium may experience some difficulties when navigating and reading certain content on the web. NVAccess has been released in NVDA 2019.3 which resolves the known issue with Edge,” Microsoft says.
The new version will currently be distributed to fast ring users via Windows Update.
