Microsoft released Windows 10 build 10074 last week after the inaugural keynote speech of the BUILD 2015 developer conference.
The company immediately after the official launch seems to have focused on bug fixes and improvements of this new versions.
So today the users who have already installed build 10074 can update their system with several improvements and bug fixes.
The updates were announced by the company in the bulletin Windows 10 Insider Preview Update Rollup for April 2015.
In addition to the necessary improvements, Microsoft is also launching a new one feature. Windows 10 build 10074 update also brings the Dolby Digital Plus codec.
Codecs are also available in Windows 8 and Windows RT.
The Dolby Digital Plus codec, often referred to as Enhanced AC3, allows a 5.1-channel surround sound system to be used throughout operating system, not only from desktop apps, but also from Windows Store apps.
The same codec was already there availables in older versions of Windows, such as Vista and 7, but with the release of Windows 8, Microsoft and Dolby had to develop a new codec, which could provide compatibility to Windows Store apps, in addition to its software desktop.
For the Windows 10, the Dolby Digital Plus encoder is available with updates to 10074.
