Microsoft has just announced a new feature that we will see after Windows 10 updates, as the company wants to provide users with more information about what changes after a function update.
More specifically, the company says that those who install an update capabilities they will then have a new first-run mode supported by application Tips. The purpose of the guide is to provide a closer look at the new features that will be available after the update.
The new post-update feature is included in Windows 10 build 20190, which is currently available for Windows Insiders on the Dev channel.
Microsoft has not given a release date, but it is likely to be part of the 20H2 version of Windows 10 that will be released this fall.
"We know that it is not always clear what changes with an important update or even how you can learn and try new features and improvements. This means that updates can seem time consuming to you with no real benefit to you and we want to change that. " he says Microsoft.
“We're introducing a new first-run experience through the Tips app that highlights the most exciting changes to your PC after installing a major Windows 10 feature update. After installing this release, Insiders will see the Tips app highlight some of the latest new features from the latest Preview Insider builds in the Dev channel. "
Currently the new feature is only available for certain regions, such as United Kingdom and the US, but if you're interested you can turn it on from the Settings app.
