According to Forbes, Microsoft admitted that it tried to install Windows 10 on systems with older operating systems, without the permission of their owners.
According to the source cited by the well-known website and magazine, some users were asked to restart their computers, but after the restart, it automatically started installation of Windows 10.
The photo you will see below confirms that Window 10 has repeatedly attempted to install without effect. There are many different attempts from August to September.

Forbes reports that Microsoft has already admitted its mistake, claiming that it all happened because of a bug caused by one of the updates released in August. The company has not announced the name of the update, but it mentioned the code error which was 0 × 80240020.
The bug has now been fixed, according to Microsoft, so if you don't want to upgrade, you can rest assured that nothing will happen to background.
