Microsoft: Free Windows 10 by January 16

Microsoft is finally allowing customers with assistive technologies to upgrade to free versions 7 and Windows 8,1 to Windows 10 by January 16, 2018, (well he didn't swear either).

The company planned to terminate the free upgrades on 31 December 2017, as it had planned to halt the free upgrades and one year after the official release of Windows 10. But earlier this week we announced that this method of installing the company's operating system is still available at no cost and without any formal announcement.Windows 10

Microsoft has reportedly once again modified the official promo page to state that "the upgrade offer for Windows 10 with assistive technologies expires on January 16, 2018" from December 31 previously mentioned.

The strange thing is that Microsoft only updated the bid end date on the website, leaving the rest of the text as it was. The page still shows the Windows 10 Anniversary Update version, despite the fact that the company has already made it available newer updates, namely Creators Update and Fall Creators Update.

Of course, this particular omission suits the goals of Microsoft that wants to install it just fine on as many PCs as possible.
