Windows 10 in build 1803 has a new very handy way of sharing files called Nearby Share. For devices not running Windows 10, you can use file sharing over a local network.
The only problem is that an error in Window 10 1803 does not allow network devices to appear in File Explorer. 
The problem occurs because some operating services that do not start correctly. Below we will see an entire list of services you will need to repair, but the process is quite simple. You will need administrator privileges.
Open the RUN by pressing the two Win + R keys together, and type services.msc. Press Enter.
Search for the following services one by one and set the 'Startup Type' to 'Automatic (Delayed Start)'. To change the cm typemovementof services, double-click on it.
Double click will open the service properties window. From the General tab, open the "Startup Type" drop-down menu and select "Automatically." Then you should not forget to click Apply.
Let's also look at the services you should look for:

Function Discovery Provider Host (FDPHost)
Function Discovery Resource Publication (FDResPub)
Network Connections (NetMan)
UPnP Device Host (UPnPHost)
Peer Name Resolution Protocol (PNRPSvc)
Peer Networking Grouping (P2PSvc)
Peer Networking Identity Manager (P2PIMSvc)
The above procedure should be applied to each service you see in the list. After applying the automatic startup for each of the above services you will need to do a restart in computer you.
After the restart, open File Explorer and click Network. Network devices should be displayed so you can share files.
This applies to devices that are not running Windows 10 1803 or any other version of Windows, Mac or Linux.
If your devices still do not appear in File Explorer, make sure they are properly connected to the network.
