Windows 10 Patch Tuesday April 2021

Microsoft has released new cumulative updates in the context of its release April 2021.

Needless to say, since these updates appear in Patch Tuesday, their focus is primarily on security patches, as Microsoft uses them to fix security vulnerabilities in the operating system and other software.

All versions of Windows 10 receive cumulative updates if they are still supported by the company.

The full list of cumulative updates released this month is as follows:

In addition to the new cumulative updates that are already rolling out, you should also be aware of a pre published by Microsoft for the end of support for Windows 10 version 1909.

This particular version will reach the end of support next month, so those who run it have less than a month to upgrade, unless they are running a SKU Enterprise, Education and IoT Enterprise.

“Windows 10, version 1909 will reach end of support on May 11, 2021 for devices with Home, Pro, Pro for Workstation and Server SAC editions. After May 11, 2021, these devices will no longer receive monthly security and quality updates that will contain protection for the latest security threats. To continue receiving security and quality updates, Microsoft recommends the in the latest version of Windows 10,” says Microsoft.

Cumulative Windows 10 updates are available through Windows Update.

Good luck!
